GraphHopper crash

Lucio Dal Pan shared this problem 8 years ago
Solved

Hi guys!

I reinstalled GraphHopper addon (addon_0.1.7.apk) according to this post: http://forum.locusmap.eu/index.php?topic=4036.0

Now I can't use it anymore, because it leads Locus to crash every time.

Did I do anything wrong?

Locus 3.10.3, Android 4.1.

Many thanks

hmm,

> "it leads Locus to crash every time"

an quite insufficient error message.

Please write a little bit more about your problem.

Yes. Simply:

  1. in settings I set GraphHopper as default routing service
  2. In GraphHopper add-on I choose my routing file
  3. I use Add new route&Measure feature
  4. I tap on fetch Route computing button
  5. Locus crashes, immediately

I can add that already had one routing file in previuos configuration of GraphHopper add-on (in graphHopper folder, inside Lucus folder); now I moved it in mapsVector folder.

Thanks

no crash here...

- delete old GraphHopper dir inside Locus!

- download new routing file (see forum thread)

- unzip and copy routing file folder to ..Locus/mapsVector

If it doesn't help - please send an error report:

Hi Gynta!

Just now, before reading your answer I tried to download and copy a new routing file. GraphHopper folder was already deleted.

Now all things work fine again: the matter was that routing file was obsolete (for the new add-on version, I guess).

Thanks you a lot.

Had the same problem here. Should the correct version of Graphhopper not be installed automatically if it does not support the new maps routing data? Works fine now.

But another issue, the navigation route has not the same large everywhere !? The first km are large, further on small ... Solution ?

"automatically" ... it is still beta, nothing more.

Different

issue then this one reported, please create a new separate issue next

time. Anyway without screenshot, I have no idea where is a problem,

thanks.
