How to get voice navigation for trail route in progress

Hi, I find Locus Pro works great for trail navigation with an imported .gpx file once I calculate navigation orders. However, I need to start only from the beginning of the track. If for some reason, I only start navigation in the middle (or somewhere after the start)... I can't seem to get the voice guidance to work! Any tips on making this work? I've been using auto recalculate, should I turn this off?
