Solved

Ahoj

I've just downloaded this addon and after launching Lokus from Smartwatch it displays "Waiting on new data".

Without any response on my taping, touching etc.

Good day Justyna,

just to be sure - are you using latest Locus version 3.11.x? It is weird because this message should appear as last step before main screen is visible. It is visible only in case, you have correct version, Locus is running and periodic updates in settings are enabled. Correct?

Hello,

I' investigation why this may happen and I see why reason why you may be stuck on this screen - this screen says that add-on is waiting on a fresh new data from Locus. Problem is that Locus is testing to who send fresh data right after start or everytime when Locus is restored from background.

So may you please try simple test - start it as usually, so you will be stuck on this screen and Locus will be on your device. Then open for example map or data manager and after a while, return back to main screen. Wait few seconds. Locus should (after return to map screen), refresh internal list of add-ons and since then, it should start sending fresh data also to this add-on. Let me know if it helps.

Sorry, did not work. Smartwatch still says "waiting on new data".

2. I found another problem. If I click the menu-button on the smartwatch a menu opens. If I click on "rec" or "navigate to", nothing happens.

I very much appreciate your efforts to make this run. Locus on sony smartwatch 2 is the only reason why I still have the smartwatch 2.

Maybe the google play services are the reason for this problem. I found this thread:

https://productforums.google.com/forum/#!topic/play-de/Zq_DbIGutQc

I have a Samsung S5 and version 7.8.99 of the play services.

Nono I know (on 90%) where is a problem.

Funny solution ... install Geocaching4Locus from Google Play and try it again. It should work! I'm working on it right now, don't worry.

After installing Geocaching4locus it works!

Thank you very much!

Oki, perfect! I've just finished fix and after testing, it seems to work as expected (even without Geocaching4Locus :) ). So please keep this add-on just as a temporary workaround. It is needed for now, because it tells Locus to send periodic updates to system.

For fix is needed updated version of add-on and also updated version of Locus. Both will be available most probably in first part of September. Unfortunately not sooner. Thanks for understanding.

Great addon. Only two ideas.

a) Buttons for zoom.

b) Swipe to move the map.

Is it possible?

Congratulations for this great program I bought it some time ago and it has been improved a lot during this time becoming incredible and great. Thanks.

Good day José, unfortunately no such features are planned. Suggest to use "automatic zoom" in advanced settings of map, which will affect also zoom level of map in watches. Number of possible features is really limited on this type of watches.

When will the Sony Smartwatch 3 (SWR50) addon?

Does anyone know a simple android wear app to display speed, altitude and coordinates?

Or a track without a map?

Or many POI without a map?
