Locus not open with a new phone

Not a Problem

I installed locus. When it open the 1st time, he download the 5m and then there is a message with a problem( points et parcours in French) and he close.

Hello Mostat.

Is there more information about the problem with points and tracks after start of Locus app? For example problem with database of points and tracks? If possible, please send us a screenshot with this error message.

A window open and said there is a problem with the data files of points and tracks. And it close one second after. I can't make a picture.

Your hardware, OSversion, Locusversion ?

Rename the Locus folder eg Locus_bkp.

Start Locus and see what happend.

Sony Xperia m4, Android 5.0, locus 3.11.3.

I renamed and a new locus folder was created when I launch locus, who closed...

Anyway thanks for helping.

I have Locus Pro 3.11.3, M4 aqua (E2333) Android 5.0 - 26.1.B.1.85. This application is very good. I patiently waiting for a solution from Sony or Locus or Android

Better! I have still a window with an error withe points and track, but locus don't close anymore. After closing this window, I can use locus normally. Waze is now running too.

It works. I have one error message when I open application first time .

ERROR: no such table: main.waypoints (code 1):, while compiling: CREATE INDEX IF NOT EXISTS waypoints_id ON waypoints ( _id)

BUT works :) I'm happy :)

Hi guys,

if you still see such errors, I'm sure that it is not OK. Locus won't work correctly in this case, I'm worried. Anyway for me it looks like some problem with problematic ROM on Sony Aqua M4 device. Aren't you using this device? Anyway wish you luck and hope that I'm wrong and Locus will work as expected for you!

Problem with storing data. "Navigate to" is not working. Problem is in ROM Sony Aqua M4.

Hmm oki, in this case, here is already quite long topic about this problem http://help.locusmap.eu/topic/free-version-crashes-on-xperia-m4-aqua-dual , where solution is in market "top" answer - it is needed to update firmware (rom) of your device to latest version.

ROM: 26.1.B.2.147, RESET PHONE, format SDcard, Locus PRO 3.12.2

everything works now :), "Navigate to" - works. i`m very happy.
