Greenalp RTT2 position view in Locus

Hi,

I've been using greenalp Real Time GPS Tracker 2 for live tracking with some friends and I wanted to know if there is a way to present their position from that app in Locus? RTT2 can share a position to anybody with a link so it should be possible. I've tried different settings but nothing shows up in Locus.

That would simplify the process of navigating someone remotely. Now I have to see someone's position in RTT2 then switch to Locus and my desired map and estimate the position of my friend. Would be much simpler if I could see someone's position in Locus.

Hi Michal,

we've checked the service you propose but unfortunately at this time it's not possible to connect it with Locus Map - RTGT shares URL but not coordinates - the page is identified by username only. Coordinates of the tracked person are available after clicking the point on Googlemap and as such are inaccessible for a third-party app.

Thank you for checking.

Do you maybe know any other service for live tracking that would make such use possible, to view someone position in Locus?

to be honest, I don't. I checked a few including our partner GPSies.com but all of them have the coordinates hidden. Nevertheless we are planning our own livetracking service so wait till spring 2016 :)
