Alpenverein GMP winter maps for Locus?
I have bought digital Alpenverein maps two years ago. I found Ape Map app which is able to use them offline on Android. But the app is really terrible. Is there a way to convert GMP to use it with Locus somehow?

Yes, you can convert Alpenverein and Kompass and many other commercial maps into a format that is understood by Locus. You need a tool called "OziMapTrans" for this. Follow the explanation here: http://www.mtb-news.de/forum/showthre...

Yes, it works. It could be done even easier: Convert gvg/gmp to TrackBuddy .tar just with that OziMapTrans. .tars are possible to read by Locus. I tried that and it works!
