Download manager not overwriting old tiles?

LKHO shared this problem 10 years ago
Solved

I have some problem when tried to refresh old offline tiles.

The sqlitedb was created using MOBAC a few years ago, and recently I found that some parts of the map has changed so I decided to do it within Locus instead of downloading the whole thing again in MOBAC. I have checked the "Overwrite older tiles more then 90 days", then I click "Calculate" and it shows an estimation of a few thousands of tiles to be downloaded. However, the progress bar jumps extremely fast within seconds and it actually skips all the existing tiles and no tile is updated.

Thanks for your quick reply. However I am not able to set it to "0", since Locus is refusing to start downloading if the value is 0.

On the other hand, i know that Mobac do not add the timestamp column to the db. Will Locus add the column when the map is being "initialized"? And I suggest that it can add a zero timestamp when initializing, so all the tiles that don`t have timestamp will be treated as old.

Hello,

quite old and still unsolved topic. I'm not sure when this changed, but as I see in code, zero value is valid, so overwriting of such tiles may be already working. I think I've changed this a long time ago based on our discussion, jut forget to notify about it.
