Hello,
I was wondering how accurate would locusmap's elevation information is... Would it be possible to differentiate between two positions, one on a cliff above(on tall rocks) and other below on the beach, with very similar latitude and longitude coordinates ?(but evidently, different altitudes)

Hello,
the accuracy of offline elevation data is about 2 ~ 5 meters. More important in your example is how detailed are the data. Data are stored in grid about 90 x 90 meters. Elevation for custom position is interpolated between points of mentioned grid. For this reason it can not get accurate result for such specific situation as cliff or some rapid changes of altitudes.
