GPX and cloud import

Gérard OLIVIER shared this problem 9 years ago
Solved

Since the last update, Locus Pro can't recognize directly gpx files. Further more, it's no longer possible to import from Dropbox or Drive, with a failure of the application. It's true for three support : Nexus 7, Acer Liquid 2 duo, Crosscall Trekker X1. Thanks to correct rapidly.

Good day Gérard,

I'm testing your issue with Google Drive application version 2.3.474.23.44 . When I browse to folder with GPX files and tap on a single file, I get offer in which app I wants to open this file and Locus (latest version 3.14.1) is in this list too. May you please write me exact steps so I may simulate same problem on own device? Thank you.

I can open gpx file with Locus by using directly Google Drive. The problem is that I can't open my Dropbox and Drive accounts directly from Locus. After a few minuts, Locus crashes. Further more, I can't open gpx file with Locus by using ES Explorer. It was OK before. Have a merry Christmas.

Google Drive in Locus has one serious problem, I found it also yesterday. This will be fixed in next version, sorry for it.

Anyway ES Explorer works correctly from Locus SD card .. So again, please give me exact steps what (which file) and how (just tap > text?) you select a file for import, thanks and merry to you too.

I have the same problem. Since the last update, when trying to import a gpx file on my Samsung Galaxy S3, the program tries to analyze the file and then crashes. On my Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 it works correctly. Hopefully the problem will be fixed in the next version because this function is crucial for using Locus for bicycle rides and hikes. I am very satisfied with Locus and hope that I can continue to use it. Daniel
