Rename exported KMZ file

Hi Menion,

When I export a track with the associated photos, Locus assumes as the default filename the current date and time. It is possible to add an option to ask the user the desired filename? Also, you could set as default name the name of the track.

Diego

Good day Diego,

in common export dialog is field where you may define name ( "Export name" ) of exported file. If you do not see it, may you write me exact steps how you export a track?

Hi Menion,

I do:

More functions -> Share and Export Data -> Export map content

the resulting name was:

data_time_map_content.kmz

Hello Diego,

ah this is important information I missed in your first post. Anyway you are trying to export a single track? Then this is quite non-standard method. Did you tried direct export of selected track with this method: http://docs.locusmap.eu/doku.php?id=manual:user_guide:tracks:export ?

Hi Menion,

I do not use the way you suggest because I want to USUALLY export the points + photos + track into a single KMZ file in order to see my hiking in Google Earth.

Good day Diego,

thanks for information, understand. Anyway this feature purpose is really - just to share current content to other users, apps etc. Not to do some extra work with export KMZ file directly. What you miss is some improved version of export system where you should be able to export points/tracks at once. This is not yet possible anyway.

So sorry, I have to deny this idea as it is against main purpose of "share" feature. Thanks for understanding.
