Hello Alexander,

Locus generates these waypoints automatically according to direction changes when you start navigation along a planned route. You can select number of the points or switch the voice navigation off. Some users find it useful for navigation along a path without necessity to look in map.

yea.. but I am looking on the map all the time when geocaching... I trust the map more than my mother who gave me birth, fed me up and didnt fail completely when educating me! And thats just annoying, it doesnt look good, and its annoying when I want to tap one single geocache, as you can see in the picture. A list with endless waypoints pops up.

And its pretty useless too! I got parts of the route outdoor, where 8 points are on 100m. I dont even think about to start voice navigation once, when a "person" tells me, every 12 meters to go (a little bit) right or left, when there is only ONE WAY, left there is a big wall and if you go right, you will fall down hillside. I won't go straight forward, if it could cost my life...

You said, you can select the number of the points? How is this possible or is there a way to turn them completely off?

and I cant imagine, that someone with a car or bike ever leaves the street/way to go straight into the thicket... so when is this ever useful?

if you don't need navigation commands, just uncheck "compute instructions" in trackpoint adding dialog:
