Good day Agustin,

sorry to hear about such problems. Did you tried to keep Locus running for a while (few minutes for example)? Or you immediately see "Locus stopped working" dialog?

I can leave the program open for as long as 10': no "Locus stopped working" dialog comes up,

the program is totally unresponsive. Have to close it with the OS.

May be I should re-install, but would like not to lose the tracks I have (most of them, but not all, copied

from my phone). Could you suggest a safe way to re-install not losing tracks or other info?

The program works fine on my phone (which unfortunately has a very poor gps) Android version 4.2.2 Kernel version 3.4.5

Build number W20-HL.V0035

Good day Agustin,

We are just do final testing of new version 3.15.3 and during today will be ready for download over Google Play. So please, download it and try it and if problem will be still there, I'll need a log from you by this method: http://docs.locusmap.eu/doku.php?id=manual:faq:how_to_create_debug_log . Hope, there will be something useful.

Thank you and really sorry for a troubles!

Not solved by upgrading to 3.15.3

I have uninstalled and installed back again, removing all files. Now it works,

although have not copied back the old data yet.

Oki Augustin, understand. I'm always sad to read about such problems. Hope Locus will work as expected after you copy data back. Otherwise I'll really need a log. In log should be an useful information why this happen.

Anyway in your case, I'm worried that it may be a problem of some map. So if same problem after you copy data back happen, maybe you should check if source of troubles isn't any downloaded map (probably best is to start Locus without maps and then add one after another and check if Locus starts). Task on long evenings mainly in cases, users has a lot of maps. Hope it won't be your case.

Let me know if I may help with anything.
