I have a "_temp" folder to check and play with some imports.

If I importing next test file - i can delete all older entries with this checkbox.

So - happy voting :)

Hello,

sorry, idea denied. Before you confirm your import, Locus gives you extra warning "what happen next", so this I think is good enough security mechanism.

Suggest to perform frequent backups of your data ;).

Hmm good question! In case of POI (mainly geocaches) this has sense a lot. In case of tracks, I'm sure more people then just gynta find any usage for this. I personally use it a lot, but it's because of testing of various tracks quite often, so I'm not a best example :).

Hello cnchip.

seems you really worry about this problem, because you were able to create completely identical "idea" an year after this one even with almost same image and description!

I'll try no to forget and into next version, I'll add small hidden test that tell me how many times, users used this option during import of tracks, so we have some numbers to work with ...

EDIT: better, I have some new idea in my head. It will take some time to create it, but it's at least in my head now :). Anyway sorry, I do not have instant solution for this for now ...

I Load, Review and Edit KMZ (Route) files using Locus each day. I load new points by Route number into a unique folder for each Route. I then load Tracks into the same folder over and over again. I use this feature to empty folder of 150-200 previous tracks before importing the next 150-200 tracks. I have 100 different folders for stops and 100 for tracks. I manage my folders carefully when loading and deleting.
