Which format can I use for items?

Good day Eugen,

all around items may be found here: http://docs.locusmap.eu/doku.php?id=manual:user_guide:items . Keep in mind, that system we call "Items" (files in Locus/mapItems directory) is used for importable files only, so for KML, GPX and other files, not for maps. For them use Locus/maps (SQLite maps) or Locus/mapsVector (vector, mapsForge maps).

Hope this helps, feel free to ask if something is not clear.

Thank you Menion for quick answer. Perhaps, for my purpose I need to use layer maps..

Can i use Mapsforge vector map to overlay another Mapsforge vector map and how can I do it in Locus?

I do not know what exactly is "your purpose" anyway best is to try it on your own: http://docs.locusmap.eu/doku.php?id=manual:user_guide:maps_tools:overlays

I've just tried it and for my own surprise, it works.
