Good day Evgeniy,

you are installing Locus directly from Google Play, latest version 3.16.2? Because I'm unable to find some reference to error code 10102 in latest Locus source code. Also is your internet connection working without a problems?

I've after discussion with my colleague, finally found an place where this error may happen in Locus. It has something to do with internet connection, not Locus itself. Because on screenshot is missing exact text of error, I do not know real reason, but solution in this case should be to use different internet connection over some wi-fi or similar. May you try it?

I already tried wifi and 3G internet. Not working

Please write the server dns and ip, which app requested. I try to ping the server from PC. May be Kazakhstan providers block this server, if this problem only with internet connection.

I tried to install the app on my nexus 9 and I have same problem. I have used 2 different wifi internet and cellular 3g internet.

Good day,

this more and more leads to some problem in your area with connection to internet or connection to our server. Never heard about something like this, interesting.

Anyway we have two options here:

1. because app do not work, there is absolutely no problem to refund your order, when you will want. Just let me know and I'll contact my colleague Hana and she will take care of it.

2. anyway if you want to try to make Locus work, then I'll need some help from you.

Try to simulate same problem on one of your device, maybe best on Nexus 9 as this is a clear Android. Best is to restart device, simulate problem and when issue happen, create and send a log by this method: http://docs.locusmap.eu/doku.php?id=manual:faq:how_to_create_debug_log#devices_with_android_42_and_higher . Also write me please exact time and timezone when you tried it. We check some logs on our server, if there will be any information.

It is possible there won't be any info in your logs, then I may create a special Locus version that will print out to log some more information. I have to say that I never saw such problem, but I'll try to help if possible.

Good day Evgeniy,

thank you for your logs. Unfortunately there is one clear information:

  1. 04-29 18:47:45.399 24544 24694 E HttpRequest: send(o.λ@fcf51b9),
  2. url:https://locus-map.appspot.com/license/libs
  3. 04-29 18:47:45.399 24544 24694 E HttpRequest: java.net.SocketTimeoutException:
  4. failed to connect to locus-map.appspot.com/209.85.233.141 (port 443) after 30000ms

Mainly in second row is visible, that Locus failed on basic "timeout" when contacting our server. So definitely not a problem in Locus itself and because you tried also more devices, it also do not look like a problem in device itself.

Anyone here skilled with HTTP communication and inability to connect to quite simple Google hosted web server? Because I have absolutely no idea here. Only what I may do for you, is a refund of your purchase. In this case, send me please your email address you used for purchase of Locus and "Order ID" you received in email from Google as confirmation of your purchase.

Thank you and really sorry for these complications.

Hello

I tried ping 209.85.233.141, and i saw no ping.

Today at evening me and other people in my country have problem with google services. Now not working play market, google maps, translate, ets. In my country there is one main interner provider and it have a problem, I think.

Let wait a few days, and if the problem not be solved, you refund the purchase.

Thank you

Hello

I ordered private ticket for refund, because server is not available yet from Kazakhstan.

I will ping your server periodically and if it will be available, I purchase the app again

Thank you.

I know it is an old thread: I just had an error 10102 an and my problem /solution was that I block all applications via afwall. Allowing Locus Map out solved that.
