Hello Gabor,

you are correct, we've changed our manual web page a few years ago. The new manual regards the export system for tracks/routes is here.

Hello!

Thanks for the reply. I was expecting a direct export to strava. In the link you gave me I understand that I have to save the gpx and later import it to strava.

An alternative that I am using is have locus share the track at the end of the ride, and i choose gmail, then send the email to upload@strava.com. This will automatically import the ride. This method is a little faster, but still requires some extra steps.

Hi,

nono! Important is point [6] in manual. When you tap on field with export type, there is also possibility to export directly to Strava! Check please this export screen and let me know if it works for you. Otherwise I`ll try to describe it more precisely

Hello again,

I can now export to Strava, no issues here.

But there are some points that maybe need to be considered, and if you have time maybe implement them.

1. When exporting to strava the name of the ride is "Track" by default. I already fill the name of the ride when finishing the ride, it would be great if the name will be by default copied to the name field on the Strava export screen.

2. I use Locus to record tracks in the wild, and in order to preserve battery or because of remote location I have no internet converage when finishing the ride. Locus should have some kind on queue - meaning finish the ride, automatically take me to the export screen at the end (like it does now), but if no internet connection is available instead of showing an error, add the ride to an upload queue to be uploaded when internet is available.

Thank you very much!

Hello,

please check our manual here: http://docs.locusmap.eu/doku.php?id=manual:user_guide:tracks:export . I've just tried export to Strava and it seems to work correctly.

All right.

Sometimes something is so clear that you can not find it :-)
