hmmmm on my Sg2 I can not confirm that

I start Locus open the map-window and make some zooming.

Using the app CPUspy I can see that the cpu is running approx 200 MHz

Not bad at all !

Locus Pro v. 2.4.3: CPU-load 0

see the gauge in the left upper corner

the app: SetVsel (analogue SetCPU for Motorola Defy)

Locus Pro v. 4.5.0 map: CPU-load 100%

Locus Pro v. 4.5.0 settings: CPU-load 0

I`ve rolled back on v 2.4.3

may you please experiement a little? Hide track, select different map, disable GPS, or in the end, record short log with CatLog program. I`m sure there will be some infinity error running on background. Sorry for that. I`ve tested this new version quite a lot (three people whole day) but not everything may be tested ...

Hello Menion,

thanks a lot for your answer

>some infinity error running on background

sure

>Hide track,

done

>select different map,

for instance, online OSM cyclo instead of vector-maps

done

>disable GPS

yep

everything with the same results: 100 CPU-load,

The problem occurs only when the map-window is running in foreground.
