Seperate BT Speed & Cadence Sensors

Ulrich Kiermayr shared this idea 7 years ago
Completed

Hello,

I have seperate BT LE Speed and cadence Sensors, i'd like to use with Locus. I can pair both of them fine and they return data.

But I could not figure out, how to connect both of them at the same time - i.e. Record Speed and Cadence into the track record or display on the dasboard.

Did I miss something here?

Good day Ulrich,

this is currently not possible. I've changed your question to "idea", so other users interested in this feature may vote. Thanks for understanding.

Would be great if Locus supported the Wahoo speed and cadence sensors bundle (http://eu.wahoofitness.com/devices/speed-and-cadence-sensors-bundle).

It'd be nice to use the Polar speed and cadence sensors (separate sensors). I can currently only have one or the other connected, which stinks.

Any update on this? It saddens me that the separate sensors are available for ANT+, but not BTLE (since my phone and most phones not Samsung don't support ANT+). I'm stuck using the Lezyne Enhanced Super GPS for track recording/sensor data display plus Locus with map and direction display (I'd much prefer just the one device that does it all!)

Just the monthly reminder that this is still wanted, then I can ditch my crappy lezyne and use locus exclusively.

It's March! Time for the monthly pestering for this ;)

Good day Ryan,

when I implement this idea it will look like often pushing is only way to force me to do such tasks. Hope more users won't use this method :). In this case, implementation isn't too complicated because in most cases, I made simple copy & paste of existing "Speed & cadence" sensor.

Let me know after some tests, if it works fine for you. Implemented in 3.22 version (release next week).
