Thanks

Good day Kurt,

to be true, I'm not sure what is needed to make this device cooperation with Locus. If it communicates over BT 4.0 (BLE) with standard mechanism like all other Heart rate monitors, it should already work. Did you tried it to connect over "Bluetooth manager" in Locus Map?

Hi Menion,

many thanks for your response.

The device needs a app named "Veryfit for heart rate" out of the google play store. Using this app there is no pairing with bluetooth necessary. It is all done by the app directly.

Therefore I asked the vendor of the device to get more information how it can communicate wit Locus Map Pro. Hopefully, they will answer.

Because there is no information about the bluetooth connection key and also at pairing time I have no choice to enter something on the device it seems hard to connect to Locus.

If I get some information from the provider, I will send it to you.

Meanwhile you can close this case.

Good day Kurt,

so it looks like manufacturer force to use their own application.

You may anyway try a simple thing. Just put on this device so it should be registering your HR values, open in Locus Map > menu > more > Bluetooth manager and in section called "Heart rate monitor (BT 4.0)" tap on left toggle button. Locus Map should now search for available BT devices and maybe your device will appear there.

If not, then this device do not support common used methods for providing Heart rate values to other applications and I'm curious what they respond you.

Hi Menion,

many thanks for your hint.

I tried this and the device was recogniced. The MAC-address (I guess) was displayed and after a short while Locus shows "connected".

But unfortunately, in the next line I get a message "no valid data" (in german: keine gültigen Daten).

I tried different things on ID107HR, but the message does not change.

Any idea?

Kind regards

Kurt

Hello Kurt,

fine this means that device communicates over BT 4.0 protocol, but use custom (own) specification, so Locus Map is not able to read it. Don't know why some manufactures don't use standard methods :(.

So unfortunately I cannot help here, sorry.
