Hello Locus team !

When you open a picture attached to a waypoint, the background is white. What about a grey, dark grey or black background instead ?

Cheers

Hello Fifi,

background of all screens in Locus is white (or very close to white), so why this change here?

Hello Menion,

You're right of course, and it is not important. It's just a question of photographic rendering. For example, the background of movies are black to give a better picture rendering.

Cheers

PS : Menion, it is the week end ! Stop working and go biking ! ;-)

I'm looking for some opinions and options.

I've ending in few posts where most of people confirm that "black" is generally better for photos background then white. So I've checked options in Locus and found out (completely forget on this after years), that background of all dialogs is small image with some shading etc., so it is not simply possible to change background color on the fly.

Because I do not consider Locus Map as "photo app", I'm declining this idea for now. Anyway I'll keep this in mind when there will be some changes in internal "photo viewer" (which are really needed as work with photos, pinch zoom etc. are quite breakneck). Thanks for understanding.

And weekend ... well 10°C and raining ... better do some fixes before next week release ;).
