Enhance function bar on the top

On tablets, the top function bar would have space for more than three buttons, maybe a configuration for the maximum number of buttons would be nice. BTW between the info field and the GPS button I can see an invincible button which does nothing...

Not so easy to catch invisible things (even writing the word was difficult for me;)...

...but now I did it!

The screenshot also makes clear, that there would be space for many other buttons (and/or info text areas for coordinates, map name, map zoom range etc.)...

This screenshot shows the general problem with "toolbars" nicely. It`s quite impossible to get them to look & behave nicely on thousands of different android devices out there.

All other toolbars (bottom, right side) look fine, only the toolbar on the top has this gap (which seems to have the same size like the other buttons) between the long info field and the three buttons on the right side...

P.S. I am not sure, maybe I`m wrong – but I believe, that there was an option "Add button" when I made a long tap on one of the three top right buttons when I was playing around during the first days of using Locus (now there are only "Information" and "Edit" available). Maybe I have added this "transparent" button myself?

I wasnt talking about the obvious "bug" but more generally about the horrible waste of precious pixels :)

Exactly what I think ;-)

The space available on the topline is depending upon your device - small phone, large phone, tablet.

What I am suggesting below is similar to what Locus has today in Turn-by-turn Navigation, where the user can configure two fields by tapping the field and select from a pop-up list.

What I am really missing today, is to have important data (like altitude, elapsed time, recorded hiking distance, ...) that can easily be read in large fonts. Field A has that information today, but the font size is so small that it is not something you see at a glance.

So Menion, may I suggest the following:

1) Would it be possible to enlarge the font in field A?

2) Would it be possible to add an optional 2nd line (Line B) with three user selectable fields? These fields should have really large fonts.

I know have tried the overlay skins, but that is not really useable since the Locus command buttons go away.

- "invisible" button removed - it was old progress button

- added possibility to define number of button in top panel

Great, thank you!

Another idea (lowest priority): allowing to set the transparency level for the function bars...

this is not now possible. Transparency is hardcoded in resources for now so there is no possibility to define color or transparency
