No Update in Menu

Solved

Hmmm, after many years of using LocusPro and thinking I know it all (sure...) I now run in to:

Where is the Update button ???

I have caches loaded into Locus and want to 'Update Cache', but the whole button has disappeared; see screenshot.

That is on 1 phone which I use all the time. I looked on my Nexus9 and there the button is present as before.

I reckon I can repair it by reinstalling and so, but just wanted to share this quirk.

I also need to add that this phone went through a lot of events: upgraded from Android 6.01 to 7.1.1. All apps backed up and restored using TitaniumBackup. Locus DB backed up and restored. So I do not feel that helpless, again, just wanted to share this.

I removed Locus, reinstalled from appstore, restored my DB, logged in to GC.com, selected a cache and went for the Update button: still gone. I am stunned. Lying next to it is my Nexus9 with the same app and same DB: there the Update button is perfectly present. As are the other missing buttons (Download logs / caches nearby).

I now also booted one of my test phones (identical HW), running the same ROM, same Locus, same DB: there the Update button is present. Aaargh :). Where to force Locus to get my button back? Help appreciated.

Hello,

"Update cache" feature is not directly made by Locus Map team, but it's made by external guy Arcao as a separate addon Geocachibg4Locus. So I suggest to check Google Play if you have installed this add-on in your device.

Hmmm, of course it is fixed now. No clue how G4L 'disappeared'. I just restored it and all runs fine now. Let's quickly remove this case from the list; I feel like an ... now; sorry for the trouble...
