I would be very pleased to see Support for GPS devices, which Support higher update rates than once per second.

I own a QSTARZ BT-Q818XT which is able to give a GPS fix ten times a second.

This sould give more accurate track Information when doing skiing at high Speeds. Giving a more exact recorded distance in the end of the day.

It would be great to see this Feature in an upcoming release.

Good day Harald,

I believe that Locus Map should be able to cooperate with such devices even now, did you tried it?

If you wants to use this for recording track, I may suggest to try set time & distance interval to minimal value (1s, 1m) and "Recording condition" to "distance OR time". This cause then when you will move at least one meter, location will be stored.

Let me know if it works for you.

I tried your suggest to use minimum parameters in combination with the or condition.

glad to hear it works fine for you. Only small suggestion ... try to measure battery consumption. I never tested Locus with such device so I'm little worried, battery consumption should be higher and question is how much higher. Hope not much :).
