POI`s name disappears whenever they`re edited
Not a Problem
POI`s name disappears whenever I try to edit them, leaving me to have to re-enter their names every time. It gets tiring. Is this a known bug? (Asus TF300 ICS 4.0.3) Thank you.

It just happens whenever I proceed to edit a saved POI. The POIs` names would just disappear, cleared automatically, when I try to edit them.

and isn`t this name highlighted when you open this screen? Did you tried to tap firstly on name text to disable highlighting and then edit text?

I never had the chance to tap, the words would already have been deleted when the edit box came up.
And I`ve found out the culprit. It`s Google`s own Chinese Pinyin/English input method. I`ve gone back to using the default input method and the problem is gone. Thank you all!

really? fine :) Anyway this is really some stupid bug in Google system, that delete text you want to edit before you have chance to edit it ... funny
