What does the red circle symbol with a white x through it mean? And can I "hide them?

It seems like currently the system is buggin. I see the icons everywhere as well and open street map notes are not even enabled. When I enable them and unable them the icons disappear... for less then a second and then they're back again.

Good day,

you have unchecked "Display notes" in "OpenStreetMap notes" dialog and notes still display even after app restart? What Locus Map version are you using?

Hi, I run version 3.27.1

It seems that when I restart the app the notes are gone. I made them visible again just to see what happened. The notes became visible. After disabling the notes again the notes stayed visible. Had to restart app to make them go away

Good day Jaap,

unfortunately I have no logical explanation for this behavior now. In app seems to be all correctly set and all my tests were success. I've anyway found one possible problem, that caused that on slower internet connection, notes appear also a while after you disabled them. Thanks for report, hope that in next version it will be better.

Hi, Thanks Mate, that really worked.

balloni's personal experience in practice :).

I hoped for an screenshot as Andrew requested, but it is possible, that it will be this issue with OpenStreet notes. Thanks balloni and Michael, let us know if it helped.

Yep, that was it, Open Street Map Notes. As you mentioned it is easy to turn them off. So, now that I know what it represents (unresolved note)....Why are they there? And why so many in Croatia?

A couple screenshots attached that might help others.

Good day Michael,

why are they there ... I was trying to find out some information about OpenStreet Notes and probably best blog post is here: https://www.mapbox.com/blog/osm-notes/ .
