Longitude, leading zeros

Torsten Gerber shared this problem 8 years ago
Solved

Longitutes have a range from W 180° to E 180°.

When displaying logitudes less 100° you add no leading zero, e. g. E 97° 19.325'

When displaying logitudes less 10° you add only one leading zero, e. g. E 07° 19.325'

To be correct you should always display longitudes in a 3-digit format, with one or two leading zeros if less than 100°:

Examples:

E 127° 19.325'

E 097° 19.325'

E 007° 19.325'

See attached screenshot.

Latitudes are correct.

This refers to Locus Map as well as to all add-ons with coordinates.

Torsten

Good day Torsten,

thank You for a bug report. Indeed, format for this type of coordinates is incorrect. For format like E 090.21545° it works correctly.

Anyway issue will be fixed in next version.
