How to get distance between two track points?

You could try "Add new route & measure" tool. Once set up & familiar, it would only take a few seconds to measure the distance.

What if the track is 20 km long and there are a lot of curves and zig-zag ? how to measure then the distance along the track?

Use BRouter as the compute source. Of course depending on the chosen profile BRoutermay route a different way, in which case you'd need to "tie it down" with a few well chosen points on the track to be measured. I'm just suggesting a method that currently exists. Andreas didn't mention the distance (20km).

your suggestion is good in case you're cycling along a road/path already present in OSM or other map,

but I'm using it for off-road (no road present on map) and I'm navigating an already saved track.Then brouter is of no help for measuring

Hello you all,

To get a distance between two trackpoints I click on the first trackpoint and memorize the "to end" distance, identified by an arrow. Then I click the second trackpoint and check the "to end" distance. Then I mentally subtract the two. I found this to be easiest way, but I got to do some math.

As I'm lazy, I suggested a tool to make the calculations in the link http://help.locusmap.eu/topic/tool-to-measure-distance-between-2-trackpoints-along-the-track
