Creating new waypoint/POI only possible at actual GPS location

Answered

I can't create a new waypoint or POI where the middle of the display and

the red hair cross is. It's always created at the actual GPS

coordinate only. So I have to shut off the GPS first, create the note and

deactivate the GPS again. That's a really a nuisance.

I work with Locus Pro already for years. And this behaviour is new since version 3.23.1. I've already tested the actual version 3.23.2. But there is no improvement.

Dear hike39.

Thank you for your question.

Yesterday I've sent you an answer to your privat question:

Dear hike39.

Thank you for your email.

There is a new option for POI location in the newest Locus version. You can change it in maps settings (Menu - Settings - Points & Tracks - New point default location - Map Screen center).

In case of other questions, please contact us.

Kind regards

Hana

Dear Hana,

I'm so sorry but I didn't receive the answer you mentioned.

And I have now the version 3.23.2 running.

There I looked for the menu item:

Menu - Settings - Point&Tracks.

But unfortunately I can't find it.

There are only:

Display, Maps, Track recording, Navigation, Guidance, GPS and location, Sensors, Gecaching, Language & Units, Miscellaneous

Kind regards

@hike39

You've described the contents of Menu > Settings.

Go to Menu > Settings > Maps > Points & Tracks > New point default location
