Predict hiking time via calculation of "leistungskilometer"

Hi,

when planning a new track for hiking we all take a look at the altitude profile. So you can not compare a track with many altitude metres with a track without. There is a way to measure this called "leistungskilometer". I only can tell a link to the german wikipedia.

My question is, is there an existing way in locus to predict hiking time via such "leistungskilometer" equivalent ?

The background is that a 5 miles track without altitude metres gets 5 "performance miles"

but a track with 5 miles and 500 altitude metres gets for example 7 "performance miles "

every person has its "performance miles" / hour speed and can calc his hiking time exactly

Hi Robert,

Locus offers estimated time on-track when planning a new route, see http://docs.locusmap.eu/doku.php?id=manual:user_guide:tracks:planning#estimated_travel_time. It is available both when creating a new route or when viewing an imported route.
