Sort basic points by icon

If I could sort basic points by icon it would sometimes be much simpler to delete or move or perform other operations.
Typical Use: I download a GPX containing 1000's of campground icons. But also included are POI for hotels, bus stops, tourism information etc. If I could sort by icon it would be far faster to delete these other POI.

did you tried to use existing filter in list of points? With it, you should just hide points you want to keep and delete rest. Give it a try.
