Use japanese map offline

I want to use the Japanese GSI standard map without an internet connection. How can I do that? I've tried going to top left menu/maps/offline. It shows no maps. When I tap the + symbol to add a new offline map and select the Japan GSI map, I get two options: display or remove. Obviously I don't want to remove the map and taping display only brings me to the list of online maps. What am I doing wrong? How can I add the Japanese GSI standard map as an offline map?

Hi,
Japan GSI is basically online map and downloading it's little bit different. Please open Menu > Maps > ONLINE > GSI > tap on submenu on right side of the map and select Download. The next steps are well described in doc: http://docs.locusmap.eu/doku.php?id=manual:user_guide:maps_download
