Beta 3.26.2.2 - Setup of track style - global setting doesn't work

in the track folder setting I disabled everything (Style not defined): Screenshot_1 and Screenshot_2

In the global settings in Settings/Maps/Points & Tracks/Track line style I set the Track line style to a blue line 6 px: Screenshot_3

I expected a blue line on the map but I saw small blue circles: Screenshot_4

ah this is correct behavior, just wrongly described in app.

Exchange "Style not defined" text for something like "Invalid style defined". Because you disabled all stuff that may be draw as a line, Locus use fallback method and draw at least small dots on places where are track trackpoints - which may be sometimes also useful.

Feature you try to achieve ( using globally defined style for folders ) is currently not possible, sorry. It is necessary to manually define style for every folder.

hmmm - in the (not beta) 3.26.2 Locus uses the global settings if the folder setting is "Style not defined". Locus shows the tracks in all folders as defined in the global settings.

Until now I use this feature because I want to use the global settings for all track folders. Changing the track width changes the track width of all visible tracks (to see the change I need to restart Locus).

Please compare the Beta 3.26.2.2 with the Locus Map Pro 3.26.2 - I use this behaviour as a feature...

I'm playing with latest Pro version and

• track style set to "Folder style"
• set folder to some red fat style and: track correctly colored by this style
• set folder style to "not to draw lines" and "not to draw polygons", so this style has title "Style not defined" and result is that track is draw with red circles! Not as a line with color and width defined in global parameters.

So I cannot agree that it works like this in latest Pro version. Check it please once more and mainly on different tracks! There may be a problem that styles defined in Beta version cannot be correctly read in latest public (Free/Pro) version!! So in these cases, Locus use default style in settings.

a few days ago I could check it once more and yes: You are right.

The tracks I displayed had a lot of trackpoints - because of the high "point densitiy" the circles looked like lines in the zoom levels I used.
