Is it possible to start navigation without waiting for GPS fix. You can give an option to user to navigation with previous GPS fix.

...and then?

So Locus should assume a certain location (the previous GPS fix resp. the last known position).

And what would that help? As soon as you move, this position gets rendered invalid and Locus could only show a `?` in the navigation element and would not give anymore instructions.

But if you start navigation without known position in the current implementation exactly the same happens: Locus presents the `?` and gives no instructions.

I think you need to explain in more detail what would be the benefit of your idea.

I use the Locus continuously.

Some time sitting at home or office, I used to plan my trip. I used to find out which route is good to travel.

But at indoors, the GPS fix does not work (visibility to satellite is low) and hence I cannot use this software at indoors.

Do we have some solution for this.

"plan a trip":

turn off GPS in system

select menu > function > navigate to

choose your "START POINT" NOT(!) from GPS

eg from cursorpos (mapcenter)

choose your "END POINT"

have fun

or use "Add new route" feature http://docs.locusmap.eu/doku.php/manu... (button no. 5 is your friend ;) )

Dear Gynta,

If I do that I will get a message "Waiting" for ever and ever and ever.
