Help me to discover new features easily

Hi,

When announcing new features for Locus I`m always eager to find out what for great new things you have added to Locus. But problem is I don`t always understand them. So I start searching your site for answers, and although this is very interesting, I don`t always find what I`m looking for.

Example: In the last update you mentioned this: "add: (PRO) possibility to define own location source (like Home, Work ...)"

What do you mean by that? I didn`t find any information regarding this feature.

My idea: Can you add a link to the thread for every new feature/change/fix when appropriate?

What do you think?

Hihi, I have the same question and also have problems to understand all the new features and changes.

Not all features have it`s post, so it`s quite complicated ... sometimes.

Anyway I`ll think about it. Till then, for "add: (PRO) possibility to define own location source (like Home, Work ...)" ... for example start "Navigate to" and you`ll get new "Get location dialog" (http://docs.locusmap.eu/doku.php/manu...). Here tap on top "pen" icon and choose first "Own location" item ... enjoy ;)

What about a small "new.png" on the corner for new features in the functions list?

Locus is growing up so fast - only poweruser can follow ;)

Maybe detailed changelog can help.

Means sometimes a little bit more infos in menu>Locus>About>News.

Not full descriptions. A link to the knowledgebase works also.

Good idea, this helps also to keep the docu more uptodate!

hmm I`ll think about it ... maybe less frequent updates together with post on blog. "new" icon as berkley said is not perfect. I hope that features list will not grow now, or in worst case really a little bit

I could understand that some users get annoyed when you are updating frequently. But I like this pace :-)

If you update less, I guess that the list would grow larger, and that`s not a solution either.
