Paid Offline Maps Gone

I bought some maps some days after I had bought locus. Whenever I re-installed locus on a new phone, the maps were there again afterwards. Now, with my latest phone, the offline maps are gone. How can I get them back?

When I bought these maps, there was NO text - as now - saying that these would only be valid for 1 year!

Thanks in advance for your help

Hi Jörn

I have observed the same in my case. I think that the maps you bought are available only one year for download. This is why the corresponding link disappears. The workarround is to save all the downloaded Lomaps and the corresponding srtm elevation data files when possible, i.e. before the end of the year after the purchase. All these files can be then backed-up on a disk or in the cloud.

Dear Jörn,

I'm sorry for troubles. The purchased LoMaps can be really downloaded for free only one year from the first purchase or from the latest update. Please see the description of LoMaps in Locus Store. I'd like to notice that this behavior is the same for the last 5 years.

You can move the maps from the old device (if available) on the new device. You can find the map files in folder: /Locus/mapsVector/ On the other hand id you decide to update / purchase new version you get fresh map data and also new feature like offline address search with LoMaps.

I'd like to also inform you that we're working on the feature for backup of maps into your personal Dropbox or Google Drive.

Thank you for understanding

Best regards

OK, I understand. So I can use the (old) maps, in case I have saved them somewhere. I hope I got a copy somewhere :)

Thanks for your helpful answer,

Joern
