Using locus map pro on an oppo phone???

I have a new oppo phone R11 Oppo. I cant get locus map pro to work on my phone. It makes straight lines and usually tuyrns itslef off after a short while. I have sought help from the store where I bought the phone and have investigated a lot of setting changes myself. I really need to know if Oppo R11 can support my locus map pro.

do I understand clearly that Locus works on your phone but with some flaws? Could you please describe the effects in greater detail? Thanks

Hi Michal. I seem to have 2 problems on locus. I use the track recorder for hiking.

1. When I start recording I do not see a line following my journey on the map. Instead the arrow stays in the same place, then after a few minutes jumps in a straight line to the next point on the map. The distance between the jumps varies every time. When I used locus on a Samsung phone I had a very accurate line following my journey a I walked.

2. The second problem is that locus frequently pauses itself and discontinues the recording. If I start it up again it soon pauses itself again. This happens regularly.

I use the walking setting.

Hi Jane,

Your first problem is most probably related to your device GPS, the second one with your device battery optimization. Yesterday we launched a new version of Locus, that solves these issues occurring on some devices - have you tested it?
