Projection accuracy problem / no decimal point

Kai Sen shared this problem 6 years ago
Solved

In Geocaching tools --> projection, there is no decimal point anymore. Why? Projected waypoints are inaccurate without decimal point.

Additionally it would be nice, if there would be no default value 0 in both projection fields. I think no ones uses 0 as value. You always have to delete it first :)

Good morning Kai,

thanks, good points. Fixed/improved.

Hi, I think right now it's again (or still?) not possible to enter decimals for values in the field "Azimuth" (what would be important for long distance projections). If I enter "24.6" on the keyboard I get "246"

Within the field "Distance" it's possible however.

Menion mentioned a fix / improvement, but we are also still waiting for this update :).

Menion, when will the fix will be transfered to the Locus release?

Hi guys,

it should be already fixed in new 3.30.3 version. Still does not work as expected?

Hey Menion,

sry my fault. I was still on 3.30.2.

Now I am on 3.30.3 and I can comfirm what sonny said.

Everthing works like it should except the value for Azimut. The decimal point is still missing.

Ah sorry. There had to remain one more issue and I was fixing it yesterday. That's why I was confused, sorry.

Because of new issue with Geocaching Notes, I'm sure we publish new version quite soon. So sorry, in next version ....
