Hi Mike,

elevation is corrected cca once per second.

so with this option the pressure sensor is useless because gps gives always the elevation?

wouldn´t it be better when the gps corects the elevation from the pressure sensor when you start a recording and the every hour or so to balance pressure mistakes by the weather ?

Hi Mike,

on the contrary - GPS (or Fused Location Provider) calculated elevation is corrected (optimized) by the pressure sensor values. You can configure the pressure sensor offset according to actual pressure. See http://docs.locusmap.eu/doku.php?id=manual:user_guide:tools:altitude
