Hello Mike,

thank you for the feedback, I marked this as an idea instead of question so that others could vote for this feature.

As you say it is currently not supported but we would like to add this feature sooner or later to the wear app.

Maybe you can add this feature with a "compass" icon like in Google Maps, so one can choose if he wants autorotation or not.

Or either add it in a separate settings activity.

This feature has been implemented in Wear for Locus Map in the recent version 1.1. Map rotation is based purely on the movement from the measured positions. Can be turn on and off by the multi purpose autocenter/autorotate button at the side of the map screen on the watch.

in the locus app you can move the middle of the maps 25% to the buttom.

with roatatiing maps on the watch this would be a great feature on the watchmapsscreen

Hello Mike,

I agree that on the watch screen this might be quite beneficial. Will even consider it as default behaviour for the version.

Thanks

Hello Mike,

thanks for the reminder. I haven't been working at the map component during last few (beta) version at all. There are also some more pressing matters regarding HRM and communication right now, but seeing this request is already quite old I agree that I should take a look at it soon. Sorry for the delay.

Best Regards

Milan
