Possibility to hide/show POIs along selected track

Will be useful I think.

Also to show/hide all POIs in current viewed area.

Not exactly. It hides/shows POI layer. I want to make visible all hidden points along my next trip and 5-10 km near to it. For example, I download huge POI db for country, hide them all, and now want show some of them... not nearest, but nearest to some track.

You're right, quick switch method hide all...and give you "unhide" tracks/poi icons. So the last part of your question should be covered.

About the "track-corridor" idea? Well, that could be useful. Reminds me of geocaching.com's routeplanning.

But is it relevant? Generally Locus handles 1000's of poi with no lag or hiccups.

i have the same problem. I ONLY want to see all Restaurants and all Shopping possibilities in a defined distance from my track. These POIS are in sub-folders of my own pois. It would be very useful for my trip to see only these very necessary POIs.

Maybe from this idea. Poi alarm only for certain folderer or certain category.

no, i don't want an alert. But the possibility to choose only the folders i want to see along the track is very good.

When i'm hiking for more days along a track, i want to see if there are restaurants or shops near my track.

Great thing. Select area of map and then enable all matching items of a folder. That would be great.
