GRIB data files as layers to maps

Is there a possibility to add a feature/make plugin to read/ update GRIB data files (for example from here http://www.globalmarinenet.com/free-grib-file-downloads/) and display them as a layers?
These forecasts can be useful for sure for Open sea map users and probably as additional source for weather forecast.
For now I used Pocket grib app to follow wind and Locus to watch Open sea Map. It will be handy to see them together :)
