pajaku there is usually not much to do. Locus use here some internal search engine integrated in Google Maps etc. So you should have same problems also in Google maps, may you check it?

Anyway I also had problem with Google search twice (maybe third) times, and simply helped restart of device ..

I`m really looking forward to day of offline address search ;)

Ah write me here what you`re trying to search, I`ll check it also

Hhmmm, you guys should stick to your old phones. My Froyo machine never missed a search with Google or Mapquest as source.

My wife`s ICS 4.0.4 would not do Google yesterday (Locus Free from market) but right now after the latest update 2.10.1 even Google runs.

ok, so I created new methods that use Google Geocoding API. Because this system is not recommended on Android where is available internal solution, this will be only a backend in case, default method fail.

So I`ll firstly use default method, and in case of any failure, I`ll then use this API solution, that call directly Google web service. Advantage is that Google searching will be also available on non-certified devices like Kindle Fire etc.

I`m marking this as solved (will be available in next 2.10.2 version), if there will be this problem again, feel free to continue in this topic

Hello,

are you trying this with latest 3.3.0 version of Locus?

Updated to latest version: Mapquest search works fine now. Took some time due to 'insufficient storage space' error in Play Store. Thank you for your quick response and hard work!
