When\where is the "pass_point" parameter used?

I have a need to hear the name of the point to which I am approaching. Only name. Without direction and distance. For this, I change the parameter value in the file ru.tts:

"poi_alert_point_X": "% S",

It works the way I need it.

But, in the same file ru.tts there is the following line:

"pass_point": "% S",

This is the same.

Question:

When\where is the "pass_point" parameter used?

Hi,

this parameter is used for announcing passing waypoints when navigating a route

Are you sure it works?

Under what conditions should it work?

That is what I need.

yes, add a waypoint (called also "via point") in route planner to your route and Locus will announce it when approaching during navigation.
