How to change speed?

Hello

I use Locus map pro on android phone and I import GPX tracks (from GARMIN Connect). I’d like to know how I can change the speed, because every time it says around 110km/h? Is it possible to define a speed : for example changing 00:33min/km by 05:00min/km (see attach file)?

Thank you.

Hi,

the speed is calculated from the length of the track and time spent on it - each trackpoint has a timestamp. Both your tracks are recorded with timestamps covering 10 kms distance in a couple minutes which results in such speed.

Thank you for your answer.

Is it possible to change the timestamp with Locus map or do i have to do it in garmin?

Hi,

it's not possible to change trackpoint timestamps in Locus Map.

After different tests of import, i found this result:

When i specify 5min/km in GARMIN connect, the import GPX file in Locus Map gives 120km/h

When i specify 30min/km in GARMIN connect, the import GPX file in Locus Map gives 20km/h

When i specify 50min/km in GARMIN connect, the import GPX file in Locus Map gives 12km/h

Does the conversion problems come from Garmin or Locus Map?

I attached the GPX file witch gives 12km/h (so 50min/km configured in GARMIN)

Hi,

the last GPX exported from your Garmin contains trackpoints with timestamps beginning at 2018-11-14T09:18:48.000 and ending at 2018-11-14T10:13:49.236, which is a span of 55 minutes. Distance is 10.99 km so the average speed is 12 km/h. I don't have a clue about specifying speed in Garmin Connect but obviously it seems that there is something not quite correct.
