Redmi 4X Cleaner removed complete Locus work directory

Redmi 4X builtin optimization app Cleaner (ver. 2.5.5) removed all data in /storage/emulated/0/Android/menion.android.locus.pro/files/.

I lost all my GPS tracks, photopoints, maps, etc. No warning comes :-(

Can you recommend something how can I restore all lost files and tracked records?

Hi,

if you used any LoMaps, you can download them again from Locus Store. If you made automatic backups of your track/point/settings database to a cloud (Dropbox or GDrive), you can restore all of it.

I have two more recommendations:

- be careful when using MIUI cleaner. It often names data used by apps incorrectly and you delete them easily by accident.

- don't install Locus Map to /storage/emulated/0/Android/menion.android.locus.pro/files/. Use rather internal memory root directory (named /sdcard). We warn against using the "emulated" directories right upon installing Locus:

Hi,

unfortunately no backup has been made. Is there any way how to restore deleted files?

Now I put main work directory to /sdcard/

I personally don't have any experience with such an app or company. Try https://play.google.com/store/search?q=data%20rescue
