Panning corrupts shading

Recently I got Sony Xperia XZ1 Compact and hill shading acts weird. Panning erases blocks of shading. If zooming in shading is rendered good at first but it gets corrupted after panning. Switching apps re-renders shading so its good again until I do some more panning.Check out the video https://youtu.be/JA7vl3Vw0mI

Good day Matjazz,

thanks for the video, interesting problem. What map (source) and map theme are you exactly using? I need to simulate issue on own device so give me please precise description of your setup. May you please also try if any basic online map has the same problems when shading is enabled? Thanks.

It was an Openadromaps multilingual map of Alps (Alps_ML.map manually downloaded) with Elevation render theme (installed from site). I tried a single language map and it works fine. Curious thing is that local raster maps also exhibited corrupt shading before but now work fine.

Seems to be the same issue as the report by John here. I'm aware of this problem and it is on new TODO list related to better OpenAndroMaps (not only) maps.

It may take some time to fix this issue. More information will be posted in mentioned "todo" list, so watch it if interested. Thanks for understanding.
