Strict route planning in walk mode

Hello,

Is it possible to create strict and simple route in walk mode? I want to go from point to point using edge line. Also I'm adding the points in correct order. For example for points set A,B,C,D I want to go:

A-straigth line-B

B-straigth line-C

C-straigth line-B

B-straigth line-E

E-straigth line-B

E-straigth line-A

The problem is that route optimizer kicks in and final route is rather:

A-straigth line-C

C-straigth line-E

E-straigth line-B

B-straigth line-A

It's optimal but completely different from mine. I'd like to Locus Pro just to create line from previous point to next point each time I choose next point.

Hi Marek,

turn the "route optimizer" off by switching to the manual mode: https://docs.locusmap.eu/doku.php?id=manual:user_guide:tracks:planning#set_your_drawing_mode

I've enabled manual mode. Still no luck. Major problem is that optimizer changes order of visiting points. Left part of attached file is route I'd like to go, right part is how the route is seen by optimizer (I was adding route points in order of 1,2,3,4,5 - like on left side of attached picture). Since I wanna travel on exact borders between each route points the only way I found is to create route for each two points separately.

Marek, when you add waypoints into a route in the Route planner, there are 3 options where to put them - in the beginning of the route, in the middle and at the end of the route. Do you always select the "end" option?

I always use:

first (for first point)

middle (for next).

Never used last since middle is causing order to change. Now I see that choosing last always produces desired result. Thanks for your support.

Adding "middle" waypoint always places it between two nearest waypoints. Adding "end" waypoint places it at the end of the route. :)
