Transferring data to new phone

I transferred my tracks and points from the old phone to the new phone. How do I do that?

Hi Jake, the best way is to make a backup of all your tracks and points with the Backup manager tool (menu > more functions) and restore it in the new phone. More info about transferring Locus to a new phone: http://docs.locusmap.eu/doku.php?id=manual:faq:move_to_new_device_sd_card

I shared it over Bluetooth. Couldn't find it using dropbox. But it didn't transfer the folders

Jake, you have to transfer the whole Locus according to the instructions in the article I sent the link of.

My phone was broken (screen), so i only may copy all Locus folders. Is possibly to recover my points and tracks from this folder?

Hi Maciej,

yes, tracks and points can be recovered. Not settings, I'm afraid (unless you auto-backed it up to Dropbox or Google Drive)

If you can explore on you phone, the auto backup folder

Locus-> backup-> auto

This is problem, bacause backup folder is empty, this is why i wrote here 😀
