Not a Problem
When adding external map. I get the message "the folder is already in use". How can I solve this problem?

this text appears when the map you are trying to add as "external" is placed in Locus/Maps directory, that is "internal". So:
- either place the map in Locus/Maps directory and do nothing - just restart Locus
- or place the map somewhere else and add it to Locus as external
