Problems with SQLiteDb maps in version 3.38

Hello

Raster maps in sqlitedb format (created with Mapc2Mapc) are no longer displayed correctly or too slowly in the new locus version 3.38. I create a lot of maps in this format for a publisher. Many users use such maps. By all means, will everyone have the same problem? Would it be possible to reuse the last version?

If you wish, I can also provide you with a sqlitedb-map. I would be thankfull for an answer.

Many Greetings,

Michael

Good day Michael,

sqlite maps are base map used by Locus Map so there generally should be no problem. If you may provide any map that does not work, it will be really useful. Thank you!

Hello Menion,I would like to send you an original geotif and the associated sqlitedb file. Whats the best way to do this? It's a lot of data. I could send the data via WeTransfer. I need your e-mail address.Thank you!

Hello Michael,

SQLite map itself will be enough. Best to share bigger files is over some Dropbox, Google Drive or WeTransfer and on the email locus.map@asamm.com , thank you.

I'm anyway not sure if I find something. You mentioned two problems: "not displayed correctly" and "too slow".

Give me first please a description of what this means? Since the new version, Locus Map scale raster maps based on the device DPI (~resolution). So new device with huge resolution and still similar screen size, will see twice or more times rescaled raster maps. Such rescale will have effect, that a) maps will be readable, b) maps looks quite the same on all devices no matter what is their resolution

About "too slow". This will be probably more complicated. Anyway what exactly is slow? Simple movement with the map? Zooming? Do you have enabled any overlays? Are maps slow in all zoom levels?

I am using sqlitedb maps made with Mobac. Since 3.38, despite having 'Automatic map loading of any type' ON, switching between maps does not work.
